The Full Story
Modeling is a source of confidence and creative expression of my identity as a Gujurati-South Asian American woman.

I have been officially modeling since 2021 but since I can remember, I have always loved having photoshoots with my friends which soon turned into full fledged photoshoots when I began networking with photographers and other professional models. Modeling has helped me overcome depression, fully accept myself, express myself creatively, and continuously level up my confidence. I aim to be the South Asian American representation in the entertainment and creative industry that I never saw for myself growing up as a first generation child of immigrants. I am so excited to see what is next in my journey! :)

Freelance modeling with photographers all over the east coast with varying creative concepts in collaboration. Additionally, I also do self photography in which I am personally the creative director, photographer, and model all in one.

Youtube videos regarding self love and developing boundaries as a brown girl, alongside daily vlogs and outfit videos. All content is edited, scripted, filmed, and directed by me. I have recently created a podcast on Spotify called By Ru inspired by the content that I post on YouTube, for more convenient listening. This is something I'm quite passionate about and hope to inspire other young girls through my content.
